Warmth in the winter for those in our community in need

This time of year, we especially remember those in our communities with financial difficulties who struggle to keep their homes warm. We’re proud to support nonprofit organizations that administer funds to area community agencies to help those in need of heating assistance.

  • KU – WinterCare Energy Assistance Fund
  • LG&E – Community Winterhelp
  • ODP – WinterShare Energy Assistance Fund

There are two easy options for making a donation: 1) include a monthly contribution when you pay your bill or 2) simply send a one-time donation (check or money order) directly to us at:

When you make a donation, we will match it dollar for dollar and send the funds directly to the agency within your service territory so more of your neighbors can stay warm this winter. (We play no part in determining who is eligible for assistance.)
